[MBL Discuss] Balsam MOU with MIN, Nov 7

MIN is the Maine InfoNet that oversees the technology parts of Maine Cat,
MARVEL!, Overdrive, etc. I do dual duty on the MIN Board as a Balsam
representative and as a school librarian representative.

Balsam (mostly with Chris Maas doing the work) has been working with Jamie
Ritter (State Librarian) and James Jackson Sanborn (MIN director) on a plan
to become involved with Maine Cat. The MIN Board gave their approval of the
final draft of the MOU October 16.  At the Balsam meeting November 7,
Balsam will vote on the MOU (memorandum of understanding).

The MOU is attached in both pdf and openoffice. Please read it before the
Nov 7 meeting.

Please plan to be at the Balsam meeting Nov 7, Tuesday, 3-5, Newport Public
Library.
